This video should be seen by every man—the launch of the book called 'Church Planter'

gregqualls:

It’s not often that we create something that we think every man needs to watch. This video is one of those you must see. We made it to announce the new book, Church Planter, and we think every…

Aiden got his first hit of Fall Ball yesterday. This is an exciting moment for us as it is his first season with the pitching machine instead of tee-ball.
Please pray for our boys as Eion is out w/a broken arm, and pray for Aiden’s humility that he glorifies God in every at bat.

Eion got hit by a pitch in practice last week. We insisted that it was not broken and that he was just playing it up for attention. Oh how we were wrong. Thank you God for humbling us as parents and the grace you have given us through science (so as to fix our boys arm).

Great meeting this morning with Lukas Vigil. Exciting to see God stirring up a passion for UNM in him.

Today

So good news, work did get easier today & my phone interview with Faith Comes by Hearing  went very well and I was able to get a second interview this Friday. A job like this does not come around often and if by some slim change I do get this job, it will be an incredible blessing for my family and for our future.

Any ways I am very encouraged by my job outlook (even if I stay at CITI, as long as it is where God wants me I will be at peace with it), also encouraged by a breakfast with Ray Del Torro (great to see how God is maturing him in his marriage, job, and as a leader of men). Lastly looking foward to breakfast with Lukas Vigil tomorrow and see what God is doing in his life as well.

During this time in my life, when so much seems uncertain I am drawn into the message from Pastor Mark this last weekend (John the Baptizer) and see what Christ tells the disciples of John the Baptist when they came in Luke 7:18-23 and asked if Christ was the one they were waiting for. Jesus proceeds to quote many passages from Isaiah about the blind seeing, deaf hearing, lepers cleansed. The thing I find comforting and funny is that he leaves out the part in Isaiah 42:7 where right after he says he will heal the blind Isaiah says he will bring the prisoner out of jail.  John the Baptist must have been waiting to hear Jesus say this part of Isaiah but Christ never did. Instead Jesus says those who hear this and are not offended are blessed. You know John thought that life would last and he would continue to preach. John must have wanted to continue on his path that he had been on, but rather Christ says My plan is not what you think, but be at peace with what I am doing for it is Glorifying to God.  I pray that through this time of change in my life, that as I want to hear and see certain things happen in my life (i.e. jobs, ministry, finances etc.) that I stay at peace with what God’s plan is and am blessed for living a God Glorifying life.
